Victim of Alleged Sex Abuse at Nursing Home Still at Strong
A female resident of Shore Winds nursing home is being held at Strong Hospital for her own personal safety after a claim of sexual abuse was raised against Shore Winds and a male employee.
A female resident of Shore Winds nursing home is being held at Strong Hospital for her own personal safety after a claim of sexual abuse was raised against Shore Winds and a male employee. The female victim’s identity has not been released but it is known that she is middle aged and does suffer from dementia. The identity of the male suspect has also not been released and he has yet to be arrested by Rochester Police, who are investigation the complaint along with the state of New York.
Shore Winds nursing home has had 46 complaints filed against it over the past three years about medical or structural complaints and the nursing home has been cited four times by the state. There have also been no charges filed against the nursing home or the supposed male suspect in the case as of yet.
